| | So I found them again but not at the best time Mark and Selli were out of time which sucks because they were not around. I am bummed though Kevin hung out all night a couple nights ago and I was busy with Mike so I missed it. Just my luck. On the upside Mark asked where I was implying that I got along well. They are quite the stoners which will be interesting, welcome back to high school. Still I think I will fit with them and they seem to like me around. | | Ok, where is the magic that happened at Case seriously I blinked y'all were there. I would really like to find my group...ok I may of found them I just need to find them again. Pretty cool people yes, but one evening of Serenity does not make it appropriate to return there on a regular basis EVEN if they did not live in the maze that is Towers I cannot seem to find them. It is rather lame but I feel as though I am floating around hoping to bump into this group of like 8 people. I is teh lame. Ah well what to do. Mike is here all weekend it has been alright ups and downs and whatnots. | However I will continue to write until I forget to. So I saw Mike day before yesterday FABULOUS. Then I went to VBS to help out my sister playing Rusty the cowgirl, luckily no one I know other than family saw me and there are no pictures. It is really exhausted. I really want start classes because all of these parties the dorm is having is not the kind of thing I feel comfortable at especially when I am this tired.
My room is done minus one set of hangers I am delighted to say. it looks pretty good. There were holes all over the area above the window so I took almost 2 hours to cover it in an artistic way with construction paper, it looks good and was necessary because of my issues with holes. I also bought a curtain for my and my roommate's closet and put them up. Also a vacuum to deal with the fact that my roommate bought a black carpet for the room that shows all kind of dust.
My phone is still lacking in a charger I thought I had bought the right one today because it fit in but apparently just because the charger fits does not mean it will charge one's phone, so tomorrow I need to wall down the hill from hell and put in my prescriptions and get a new charger. I am praying I don't have to go into Manhattan that would suck.
MIKE GOT AN APARTMENT *dances* and he moves in the day after my birthday what an awesome birthday present.

| So there was a fire in my dorm last night, a for real 7 firetrucks fire. Nothing was damaged but good lord. So basic things about Wagner, move in sucks because you are not allowed to take the elevators and I live on the 12th floor SUX. My roommate is ok, but much more mainstream then me and homesick...like cry all the time homesick.
I feel really old and I am much enthused with he ides that the upper classmen arrive tomorrow. I keep hanging out with the peer leaders because at least they are solid. When surrounded by the hustling and bustling freshman I feel so chill and apathetic...but what can you do.

| | So this weekend I went a Bacholer's Party called a Stag Party here. I Shanghied to tell you the truth I was walking down the street and three guys grabbed my arm to see what I was listening to. Then they asked me to come in a get a drink. I did and I am very glad I did. Great good of guys and free drinks all night. All sorts of games, and dancing, and sooo much fun. | | So I have rediscovered Jack of All Trades which is a show that lasted not long enough starring Bruce Campbell as a wise-ass American spy on an island to defend it from Napoleon. It wouldn't be brilliant except it is Bruce Campbell at his finest, witty, overconfident, performing loads of physical comedy. I am so in love. | So I used to think I loved Roswell because Jason Behr is hot, and my type: nerdy, quiet, strong. Look below it is very clear the boy is attractive.
But now I see there is much more to my enjoyment of this show. It is about people who don't fit. Because even with all the powers and drama they really are normal teens, way more than any other show on t.v. They deal with feelings of being alone, the fact that as adolescents they have to move more into the world of peers. At the same time battling with the trust of adults not understanding of believing. I think in a lot of ways I was Liz Parker, definitely louder but I was just a girl wanting something interesting to happen to me, and hoping that I could fit somewhere. It sounds hokey but I really do think this show ended up with some impressive realities in it. Plus there are aliens and I do love aliens. | | comments: Leave a comment |
| | So I am sitting here contemplating what I will do for my first audition at Wagner. Oh I can't sleep for some reason, but I am ignoring that. It strikes me that it is vitally important to me that I get to be in a play again. I always thought I was good and I got cast as such. Hell before Case screwed me they gave me an exceptional amount of money because they I had talent. In general I have found people have thought I am really good or talentless. But I need them to think I am at least ok, I need a chorus role. I NEED a show. I think I want to sing Aldonza from Man of La Mancha, my up-tempo is still a mystery. Monologues are the dramatic one from Antigone in New York which is perfect if for nothing else it is darkly comedic at the same time as heart wrenchingly sad. The other I think is Beatrice from Much Ado About Nothing. Seems good but I am so tired of not having a show, and them not thinking I have talent. They don't need to think I am amazing just chorus worthy. I had forgotten how much I love it and how antsy I get without it. The season is Our Town, Footloose, Fiddler on the Roof, and one I can not remember the name of I think its Mikado or something similar. Good season though.
